Musical Theatre

CMCJP is happy to welcome Pocket Full of Tales theatre company to our center.

In 1999, Pocket Full of Tales Theatre Company set out on a mission: to bring art, theatre and adventures of the imagination to every child they meet. For the past 9 years they have been doing just that; through performances and classes with kids and their families from Boston to Los Angeles, in schools, community centers, churches, clubs and arts organizations.

Scripted original musicals are the leaping off point for Pocket Full of Tales' Musical Theatre workshops. Your child will experience adventures in acting, dancing, singing, art and teamwork! Students will work together to create fabulous performances for family, friends and community on the last day of class. An exciting and fun introduction to the world of musical theater and a chance to work with a professional acting teacher on a great show!

Over 40 shows in the repertoire, including Shrek, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Stone Soup, The Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, King Arthur, How To Eat Fried Worms, and many original productions!

Fall through spring workshops run in 6-week sessions, on Friday afternoons, with a new show each session. Class size up to 12 students.  Classes run for one hour.  Class times:  3:25pm & 4:30pm.

Tuition: $105 (add $15 registration fee for families new to the center).

Special offer:  Register/pay in advance for all five workshops this year for $475 ($50 savings!) Contact us for information.
